Recipe Ingredients for Cabbage Vegetable Soup (Borscht)

1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 lb green cabbage
2 small potatoes
1 large onion
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup fresh dill

Recipe Directions for Cabbage Vegetable Soup (Borscht)

Saute onions in oil. Add cabbage, sliced, and saute 5 minutes. Add 6 cups water, diced potatoes, and bring to simmer for one hour. Serve with sour cream and fresh dill.
