Recipe Ingredients for Cabbage soup - without salt

5 small Onions
1 head, small (about 4-1/2" dia) Cabbage
5 medium Carrots
1 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long) Celery
2 medium (approx 2-3/4" long, 2-1/2" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Green
6 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
10 sprigs Parsley
1 tsp Pepper, Black
1 tsp Curry Powder
1 clove Garlic
1 tablespoon Oregano
12 cup (8 fl oz) Water

Recipe Directions for Cabbage soup - without salt

  1. Cut into small pieces: cabbage, tomatoes (peeled), celery, carrots, onion and green peppers (can be also red or yellow).

  2. Cook the prepared vegetables in about 3 liters of water.

  3. When the ingredients are tender, that is, after about half an hour, add the spices.

  4. Remember not to add salt , fat or bouillon cubes to the soup.
