Recipe Ingredients for cabbage soup (tofu)

200 g. onion, chopped
700 g. cabbage, large shreds
1 tsp. olive oil
7 oz. firm tofu
1 tsp liquid smoke
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp caraway seed
1 tsp white pepper
2 tsp chicken bouillion
1 T. white vinegar
1 tsp prepared horseradish

Recipe Directions for cabbage soup (tofu)

  1. Saute onion and cabbage in olive oil, stirring until they begin to color. Add smoke flavoring, garlic powder, caraway seed and white pepper.

  2. While above is cooking, process tofu with 1/2 cup of water and bouillion until very smooth.

  3. When cabbage is cooked, about 20 minutes, add 3 cups of water, 1 tsp. chicken bouillion and tofu mixture. Add horseradish, vinegar and 1 tsp. butter flavoring.

  4. Taste and correct flavorings as needed.

  5. Blend with submersible blender lightly, leaving chunky.
