This recipe has been in our family since the week after my husband and I got married. He made a comment one evening about this delicious soup an old girlfriend used to cook for him. I called her and got the recipe that evening. Boy was he surprised!

Recipe Ingredients for Cabbage Soup

1 serving ( 3 oz ) Beef, Ground, 95% Lean Meat / 5% Fat, Crumbles
3 serving Olive Oil
0.5 cup, chopped Onions
6 clove Garlic
4 cup Chicken Broth
8 cup, chopped Cabbage
9 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
3 cup Kidney Beans Dark Red

Recipe Directions for Cabbage Soup

  1. Brown onion, garlic, and beef in olive oil.

  2. Season with worcestershire sauce.

  3. Add chicken broth and cabbage. Cook until cabbage begins to soften and add kidney beans.
