cabbage soup note: 8 cups or 1 cabbage...recipe actually calls for 4 boullion cubes, reduced to lower sodium content. Also add 2 pkg splenda.

Recipe Ingredients for cabbage soup

8 cups cabbage
1 cup celery
1 cup carrots
46 oz tomato juice
46 oz water
2 beef bouillon cubes
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tbsp lemon juice

Recipe Directions for cabbage soup

  1. combine in pot

  2. bring to boil

  3. reduce heat and simmer 2 hours

  4. refrigerate 24 hours before reheating to serve
