Based off the cabbage soup diet, with added sausage and without the tomatoes

Recipe Ingredients for Cabbage and Sausage Soup

16 oz Sausage
1 carrot (7-1/2") Carrots
3 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long) Celery
1 medium Green Bell Pepper
6 medium (4-1/8" long) Onions, Spring Or Scallions
2 tbsp Recipe Secrets Soup
12 cup (8 fl oz) Water
1 tsp Pepper, Black
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Spices Crushed Red Peppers
1 tsp Caraway Seed
1 serving Chopped Onion Flakes
0.5 head, medium (about 5-3/4" dia) Cabbage

Recipe Directions for Cabbage and Sausage Soup

  1. Cook Sausage halfway.

  2. Add chopped carrots, onion, bell pepper, and celery. Saute until pork is cooked completely.

  3. Reduce heat to low and simmer about 10 min, or until veggies are as tender as you'd like.

  4. Add chopped cabbage. Stir.

  5. Add 12 cups water, and spices {the spices are all approximate, use more or less to your own tase, not adding any salt}

  6. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for as long as you'd like {more time for more tender veggies....I base it off the carrots, if they are soft or not}
