Recipe Ingredients for Cabbage Salad With Peanut Dressing

2 tablespoons smooth peanut butter
3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar (red wine works as well)
1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced (more or less to preference)
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes, crushed
300 grams cabbage, shredded
1 clove garlic, minced
200 grams orange bell pepper, thinly sliced any color will do, but orange and red are naturally sweeter. Medium to large
190 grams carrot, minced. four large ones
35 grams green onions, thinly sliced 3 large ones
1/4 cup Cilantro, chopped, to preference (optional)

Recipe Directions for Cabbage Salad With Peanut Dressing

  1. Make the dressing by whisking together the first 7 ingredients (peanut butter through to red pepper flakes).

  2. Chop up all the veg and then toss together with the dressing. Sprinkle with chopped fresh cilantro and sesame seeds to garnish if you wish. Enjoy!
