Meat and rice wrapped in cabbage with tomato soup

Recipe Ingredients for Cabbage Rolls

30 cabbage leaves
1 lb lean ground beef
1 1/2 c brown rice
2 strips bacon
1 onion, finely chopped
2 cans tomato soup
1 tbsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Cabbage Rolls

  1. Cook rice

  2. Mix rice (when cool) with beef, bacon, onion and pepper.

  3. Cook cabbage

  4. Remove hard stem on each cooked leaf

  5. 1/4 cup of mixture in each leaf and roll.

  6. Place in casserole.

  7. Add water halfway up casserole and cook at 350 for one hour.

  8. Drain water and add tomato soup to heat.

  9. Serve
