this is the classic ichiban noodle salad, but I had to not include the ichiban because the recipe maker didn't recognize it. MAKES LOTS

Recipe Ingredients for Cabbage Noodle Salad

5 cups cabbage
5 cups red cabbage
3/4 cup scallions
1 small red pepper
1 medium green pepper
1/2 cup parsley, chopped
1 cucumber, peeled
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup noodles, chinese chow-mein
3/10 cup peanuts, roasted
1 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Cabbage Noodle Salad

  1. use 1 package of sapporo ichiban, red to get your noodles and the flavour pack

  2. mix together oil, vinegars and a flavour pack and whisk together as a dressing

  3. chop the rest of the ingredients and toss them with the dressing
