Recipe Ingredients for cabbage and lentil soup

200 g lentils
18 cups water
390 g turnip
300 g carrot
230 g leeks
300 g celery
350 g cabbage
350 g tomato
1 tin tomatoes
2 chicken stock cubes
1 tbs herbs
1 tbs soy sauce
1 tbs vinegar

Recipe Directions for cabbage and lentil soup

  1. soak lentils overnight

  2. simmer lentils for 30mins

  3. peel and chop vegetables

  4. add to pot and simmer for 30mins

  5. take off heat and season to taste

  6. cool and blend
