Cabbage and Leek Soup Recipe

A low fat, high fulfillment recipe. Can be supplemented with a slice of bread, but I have it just by itself. Can add such other spices as- aamchoor (check an Indian food store. Its basically raw mango powder) also spices can be reduced from here for taste. Add curry leaves and dill tips if you like, and perhaps some garlic paste.

Recipe Ingredients for Cabbage and Leek soup

2 cup, chopped Cabbage
2 cup Leeks
1 Cube Chicken Stock Cubes
1 medium (approx 2-3/4" long, 2-1/2" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Green
5 tbsp Pepper, Black
4 dash Salt, Table
1 tbsp Vinegar distilled
1 Serving Red Raw Chillies
1 tbsp Dill
1 tbs Lemongrass
1 tsp Turmeric, Ground
4 cup (8 fl oz) Water
2 oz Tomato Puree

Recipe Directions for Cabbage and Leek soup

  1. 1. Chop all vegetables and put to boil.

  2. 2. Add all other spices and ingredients and let it boil.

  3. 3. When ithe vegetables seem semi boiled, cover with a lid and let boil in low heat for about half an hour or till vegetables are soft as per your liking.

  4. Serve.
