These can be made into cabbage rolls or if you can't seem to get the leafs off without ripping them... make it into a lasagna lol

Recipe Ingredients for Cabbage Lasagna (alternative to Cabbage rolls)

4 cups or 8 large cabbage leafs
2 pounds ground turkey
3 1/2 cups Del Monte Four Cheese spaghetti Sauce
1 cup fresh mushrooms
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
2 cloves garlic
1 small onion
10 ounce frozen spinach
1/2 cup parmasan cheese

Recipe Directions for Cabbage Lasagna (alternative to Cabbage rolls)

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Boil your cabbage leafs until soft but they don't fall apart.

  2. Defrost spinach and wring out all liquid.

  3. Brown turkey with onion and garlic. set aside.

  4. Combine meat mixture with mushrooms, nutmeg, salt, pepper and spinach.

  5. You can now either roll the mixture up into the cabbage leafs or place 2 cabbage leafs on the bottom of a lightly sprayed baking dish and layer. Cabbage leaf, Meat mixture, sprinkle of parmesan, spaghetti sauce. Repeat until you end with cabbage on top. Top with remaining spaghetti sauce and cheese.

  6. Bake for 30 minutes.
