Recipe Ingredients for Cabbage Goulash

16 oz Extra Lean Ground Beef
5 link (7/8" dia x 4" long) Pork Sausage, Fresh
28 oz Diced Tomatoes, No Salt Added
1 fl oz White Vinegar, Distilled, Organic
2 clove Garlic
1 large Onions
1 cup (8 fl oz) Water
2 tbsp Onion Soup Mix
1 head, large (about 7" dia) Cabbage
5.5 oz Tomato Paste
6 serving Ground Red Pepper Spice

Recipe Directions for Cabbage Goulash

  1. Brown ground beef, pork sausage, onion and garlic in a large kettle.

  2. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, vinegar, and red pepper spice and mix well.

  3. cover with chopped cabbage.

  4. Add onion soup mix to hot water and pour over cabbabe.

  5. Simmer 20-30 minutes or until cabbage reaches desired tenderness.
