Like cabbage rolls, but in casserole form.

Recipe Ingredients for Cabbage Casserole

15 oz Napa Cabbage
16 oz Laura's 92% Lean Ground Beef
10 oz Tomato Paste
1.5 serving Jasmine Rice
12 oz Tomato Sauce
3 oz Water
1 oz Omega Cooking and Salad Oil

Recipe Directions for Cabbage Casserole

  1. Heat oven to 350. Boil cabbage just long enough to soften the outer leaves (so they can be easily removed from the head). Combine ground beef, tomato paste, rice, and seasonings of your liking (not listed - we use lots of cayenne pepper, tiny bit of salt, and garlic powder). Line baking dish with cabbage leaves, spread meat/rice mixture over leaves, then top with another layer of cabbage leaves. Mix tomato sauce with oil and water, pour over cabbage. Bake.

  2. Note: this recipe doesn't use a whole head of cabbage, but I love the stuff, so I steam the rest so I can have more with the casserole.
