The recipe's not mine! It's from washington athletic club, Greek Cabbage and Brown Rice Pilaf.

Recipe Ingredients for Cabbage Brown Rice Pilaf

1 tbsp olive oil
1 large onion
3/4 cup brown rice, raw
1 head of cabbage
1 1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 tomatoes, chopped
1/3 cup raisins
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp lemon juice

Recipe Directions for Cabbage Brown Rice Pilaf

  1. fry onions in oil

  2. add the rice, then the cabbage

  3. saute for 2 minutes

  4. add the rest of the ingredients except the lemon juice

  5. simmer for about 20 minutes

  6. stir in the lemon juice
