Recipe Ingredients for Cabbage Beef Soup

1 lb. lean ground beef
1 packet of onion soup mix
2 cups of raw cabbage
1 medium onion
2 cloves of garlic
15 oz. kidney beans
29 oz. diced tomatoes
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. salt
32 oz. tomato juice

Recipe Directions for Cabbage Beef Soup

Brown ground beef in a pot with enough water to keep it from sticking. Add chopped garlic and onions until clear and tender. Add cabbage, cans of beans, diced tomatoes, onion soup mix and tomato juice. Add spices and stir. Bring to a boil and turn down to a simmer.
