This is Mongolian/Bouryat dish which is easy to make

Recipe Ingredients for buuz v2

7 oz lamb
1 lb beef
1 onion
2 cloves of garlic
2 cups flour
2 eggs
1 tbsp salt
1 tsp pepper
2 tsp butter

Recipe Directions for buuz v2

  1. Make pasta-like dough from 2 cups of flour, 2 eggs and 1 tsp of salt. Add water if needed, the dough should be rubbery in feeling.

  2. Mince garlic

  3. Cut beef, lamb and an onion into very small cubes (1/4 inch or less). Do not ground, that would ruin the flavor.

  4. Mix cut meat with garlic, remaining salt, pepper.

  5. Divide into 16 piles, add a small amount of butter in each.

  6. Cut dough into 16 small chunks, flatten each chunk, put meat on it and wrap. Leave a small hole on top.

  7. Put on steam for 10-15 minutes. Eat while hot (but don't scald yourself!)
