I used a combo of cooked yams and squash.

Recipe Ingredients for Butternut Squash Soup

1 t olive oil
1 cup onion
1 clove garlic
1/2 cup yam, cooked
1 cup butternut squash, cooked
3 c fat free, low sodium chicken broth

Recipe Directions for Butternut Squash Soup

Saute onion and garlic in oil. Add rest of ingredients and simmer 30 minutes. Use a stick blender to make a smooth, creamy soup. Add salt and pepper as desired.
