Recipe Ingredients for Butternut Squash Soup

16 oz Squash, Winter, Butternut
16 fl oz Organic Free Range Chicken Low Sodium Broth
0.5 medium (3") Apples
0.5 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
0.25 tsp Nutmeg, Ground
0.25 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
0.125 tsp Pepper, White
0.25 tsp Rosemary, Dried
1/4 tsp Table Salt
2 oz Cream, Fluid, Half And Half

Recipe Directions for Butternut Squash Soup

  1. Remove seeds from squash.

  2. Roast or Microwave squash until tender.

  3. Scoop out flesh until you have 2 cups.

  4. Add all ingredients except cream to saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes.

  5. Blend soup until smooth and creamy.

  6. Add half and half and blend until combined
