Recipe Ingredients for Butternut Squash Soup

8 cups butternut squash
1 medium onion
1/8 cup butter
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp garlic powder
1 cup 1% milk

Recipe Directions for Butternut Squash Soup

Cut the squash then cook in a 400 F oven for 1hr. Peel the skin off the cooked squash and remove seeds. Pan-fry onions in butter, add cooked squash and warm. Place in a blender and blend to puree ingredients, adding milk to decrease thickness. Add spices to taste.
