Makes 4 servings



Rich and creamy. Best to reduce the amount of cream cheese and cut some calories and fat! But this is an easy tasty recipe!

Recipe Ingredients for Butternut Squash Soup

2 tbsp onion flakes
3 cups butternut squash, peeled & cubed
2 cube chicken bouillon
2 cup water
1/4 tsp marjoram
1/8 tsp pepper
1 1/2 oz cream cheese

Recipe Directions for Butternut Squash Soup

  1. Add onion flakes, squash, water, bouillon, marjoram, black pepper and cayenne pepper. Bring to a boil.

  2. Cook 20 minutes or until squash is tender.

  3. Remove from heat and allow to cool 15 minutes.

  4. Puree squash and cream cheese in blender in batches until smooth.

  5. Return to saucepan and heat on low until heated through. Do not allow to boil.
