Recipe Ingredients for Butternut Squash Soup

1 tbsp olive oil
1 medium onion, diced
2 lb butternut squash, cubed
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp sage
6 cups chicken broth
1 cup fat free milk

Recipe Directions for Butternut Squash Soup

  1. Saute onion in olive oil until golden.

  2. Add squash, honey, sage, saute until honey bubbles.

  3. Add chicken broth, simmer until squash tender (up to 30 minutes).

  4. Let cool, then puree in batches.

  5. Return to stovetop; add milk and bring to boil; serve.
