Recipe Ingredients for Butternut Squash Soup w/chicken

1 tbsp onion
1/2 tbsp margarine
1/2 cup chicken breast, diced
3 cups butternut squash
1 1/2 cups water
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp marjoram
1 tbsp cream cheese
2 tbsp cream

Recipe Directions for Butternut Squash Soup w/chicken

  1. Saute onion in margarine until tender in a large saucepan.

  2. Add cubed squash, chicken, water, salt, and marjoram.

  3. Bring to a boil and cook 20 minutes.

  4. Puree soup with cream cheese and cream in a blender until smooth.

  5. Return to saucepan and heat through.
