Recipe Ingredients for Butternut squash

20 oz. butternut squash
1/4 cup water
1 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Recipe Directions for Butternut squash

  1. Put squash in microwave-safe dish with a lid. Add 1/4 cup water. Microwave about 9 minutes.

  2. Drain squash and place in a bowl. Add butter, salt, and pepper. Mash with pastry cutter, potato masher, or fork.
