4 cup, cubes Squash, Winter, Butternut
1 Apple Apples

Recipe Directions for butternut squash w/onion and apple

  1. peel squash, cut in half lengthwise,

  2. remove seeds, chop into 1 inch pieces

  3. core apple, chop into 1 inch pieces

  4. chop onion

  5. saute onion, add squash, apple, 1 T dried tarragon

  6. add 1/4 cup water and simmer, covered for 20 minutes or until squash softens
