Recipe Ingredients for Butternut squash mash

1 ounce butter
1 1/2 cups cooked butternut squash
1 small onion, diced
1 cup grated carrot
1/2 cup diced celery
1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
1/2 tsp sage
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 cup water

Recipe Directions for Butternut squash mash

Saute onion, carrot, mushrooms and onion in butter until softened. Add butternut squash and water. Bring to the boiling point and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 15 minutes. Good served with seared scallops on top.
