Great tasting, simple and hearty enough for the whole family. I make this as a big batch so there is leftovers for the next days lunch. You can make it thicker by decreasing the water. Easy to adapt - no salt is added and you can add other spices as desired. Leave out the ham for a vegaterian version.

Recipe Ingredients for Butternut Squash & Ham soup

5 cup, cubes Squash, Winter, Butternut
1 cup, sliced Fennel, Bulb
16 oz Ham
1 tbsp Garlic Powder
1 pepper Peppers, Jalapeno

Recipe Directions for Butternut Squash & Ham soup

peel squash , cut into cubes, drizzle oil and bake till tender. chopped remaining veggies and add to blender wiith squash, corn starch and milk. Blend until smooth. Pour into pot, add remaining ingredients and heat throughly. Add salt and pepper if desired.
