Recipe Ingredients for Butternut Squash with Balsamic Syrup

1 1/2 cups butternut squash, cubed
1 tablespoon sage leaves, finely chopped
3/4 tablespoons maple syrup
3/4 tablespoon olive oil
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon of brown sugar
1 tsp sage leaves

Recipe Directions for Butternut Squash with Balsamic Syrup

  1. Toss squash with chopped sage, syrup, oil, salt, and pepper. Arrange on baking sheet and bake at 400 for about 35 minutes or until tender.

  2. Meanwhile, combine vinegar, brown sugar, and sage leaves in a saucepan. Reduce over medium-low heat until thick.

  3. Serve squash with balsamic syrup.
