Baked Squash, Apple and Cranberry with brown sugar and nutmeg

Recipe Ingredients for Butternut Squash Apple Cranberry Bake

8 cups butternut squash
2 large apples
1/2 cup cranberries
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter
1 tbsp flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg or mace, ground

Recipe Directions for Butternut Squash Apple Cranberry Bake

  1. Peel butternut squash and cut into 1-inch cubes

  2. Peel and cut 2 large tart cooking apples into 1/2 inch thick slices

  3. Put squash, apples and cranberries into an ungreased 7x11 baking dish.

  4. Mix the flour, salt, sugar and nutmeg and sprinkle on top.

  5. Dot with butter.

  6. Bake 50-60 minutes
