A light soup which can be served hot or cold.

Recipe Ingredients for Butternut Soup

300 grams Squash, Winter, Butternut
1 tbsp chopped Onions, Spring Or Scallions
1/4 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 serving Ground Cumin
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
1/2 Cube Stock Cubes

Recipe Directions for Butternut Soup

  1. Cook the spring onion in the oil with 2ml cumin (optional or to taste)

  2. Add pre-roated, pealed and measured butternut

  3. Season with cinnamon

  4. Add 100 ml of hot water in which the stock cube has been dissovled

  5. Puree

  6. Add addiitonal water till soup measures 500 ml

  7. Serve
