Jello salad with buttermilk. Delicious!

Recipe Ingredients for Buttermilk Salad

20 ounce crushed pineapple, with juice
6 ounce apricot or peach flavored gelatin mix
2 cups buttermilk
8 ounce frozen whipped topping, thawed

Recipe Directions for Buttermilk Salad

  1. Place the pineapple in a medium saucepan, and bring to a boil.

  2. Stir in the gelatin mix until completely dissolved. Remove to a bowl, and chill until partially set, about 1 hour.

  3. Stir in buttermilk, and chill again until thickened.

  4. Fold in whipped topping, and refrigerate until firm, at least 4 hours.
