Recipe Ingredients for Buttermilk Pancakes

1 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
6 tsp Sugar Pure Cane Granulated
0.5 tsp Baking Soda
0.25 tsp Salt, Table
1 cup Milk, Buttermilk, Fluid, Cultured, Lowfat
1 1tsp Vegetable Oil, Canola
1 large Egg, Whole
1 tsp Baking Powder

Recipe Directions for Buttermilk Pancakes

lightly spoon flour int a dry measuring cup; level with a knife. combine flour and sugar, baking powder, banking soda and salt and a large bowl. and make a well in center of mixture. combine buttermilk, oil and egg; add to flour mixture, stirring until smooth. spoon about 1/4 cup of batter onto a not nonstick griddle. turn when tops are covered with bubbles and edges look cooked.
