Recipe Ingredients for Buttermilk-Herb Mashed Potatoes

2 large Yukon Gold potato, peeled and cut into chunks
2 clove garlic, peeled
2 tsp butter
4 tbsp 1 % milk
1 tbsp white vinegar
1 1/2 tsp parsley, chopped
1 Salt, to taste
1 Black pepper, to taste

Recipe Directions for Buttermilk-Herb Mashed Potatoes

  1. Place potato in a small saucepan and cover with water.

  2. Add garlic.

  3. Bring to a boil; cook until the potato is tender.

  4. Drain; add butter and buttermilk, and mash with a potato masher to the desired consistency.

  5. Stir in herbs.

  6. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper.
