Recipe Ingredients for Buttermilk chicken

4 tbsp Milk, Buttermilk, Dried
1 cup (8 fl oz) Water
1 tsp Hot Sauce Louisiana
8 yield from 1 lb ready-to-cook chicken Chicken, broilers or fryer thigh
1 cup Panko
1 teaspoon Thyme
1/2 tsp Pepper, Black

Recipe Directions for Buttermilk chicken

  1. Preheat the oven to 400. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, mix the buttermilk powder and water together. Add the hot sauce. Add the chicken thighs, turning to make sure they are completely covered.

  3. In a large, flat dish, mix the panko, salt, pepper, and thyme. Remove the chicken one piece at a time, and dredge in the panko mixture, making sure to cover completely. Place on baking sheet, leaving enough room around each piece so it browns completely on all sides.

  4. Bake for 30-40 minute until cooked through.
