Recipe Ingredients for Buttermilk cheddar biscuits

2 cup Gold Medal All Purpose Flour
2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1 serving Salt
0.5 teaspoon Baking Soda
8 oz Buttermilk
1 cup, shredded Cheddar Cheese
0.5 cup Butter

Recipe Directions for Buttermilk cheddar biscuits

  1. Whisk together in a large bowl the flour, baking powder, salt, and soda.

  2. Cut in the butter, mixing until the largest pieces are the size of peas and the rest resemble breadcrumbs.

  3. Add cheese, stir.

  4. Stir in buttermilk until moistened.

  5. Drop onto baking stone in ten even pieces.

  6. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.

  7. Serve hot.
