1 cup shortening
3 cups sugar
5 eggs
3 cups Gluten Free Rice Flour Blend-All Purpose
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla
2 tsp Almond Extract

Recipe Directions for Buttermilk Cake

  1. blend shortening, sugar and eggs

  2. sift together flour, salt & baking soda

  3. blend dry ingredients with egg mixture

  4. add buttermilk, vanilla and almond extract

  5. bake in greased & sugared bundt pan 325 degrees for 1 hour 15 min
