Recipe Ingredients for buttermilk biscuits

1 3/10 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Unbleached
1/4 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Sea Salt
3 tbsp Butter
1 cup Milk, Buttermilk, Fluid, Cultured, Lowfat

Recipe Directions for buttermilk biscuits

set butter to melt in biscuit pan in 400 degree oven. mix buttermilk, baking powder, soda and salt until it all foams. add melted butter from the pan and mix well. add flour until it's "just past sticky" -- 1 to 1 1/2 cups. i used 1 1/3 cups. knead very lightly on a floured board -- don't overwork it --, pat to about 1 inch thickness, cut into 8 pieces and bake for 15-20 minutes until tops are brown.
