Recipe Ingredients for Buttermilk Biscuits from Anita

3 cups all-purpose flour
5 teaspoons baking powder
3 teaspoons sugar
3/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup margarine
1 cup buttermilk
1/3 teaspoon baking soda

Recipe Directions for Buttermilk Biscuits from Anita

Mix. flour, baking powder, sugar, cream of tartar, salt and baking soda. Cut in shortening and add stir in milk. Kneed for about a half a minute on a lightly floured surface. Roll our to desired thickness and cut with a biscuit cutter. Alter the number of servings per recipe accordingly. Bake at 540* approximately 12 minutes thawed. If frozen monitor until browned.
