Easy version of an Indian dish made in the slow cooker.

Recipe Ingredients for Butter Chicken

2 pounds chicken tenders
1 onion, sliced
6 garlic cloves, chopped
4 T butter
15 g cardamom pods
2 tsp curry
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1.5 cup light coconut milk
1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
2 T lemon juice
8 oz greek yogurt, plain

Recipe Directions for Butter Chicken

Add everything to slow cooker except yogurt. Cook on low for 8-10 hours. Shred chicken with a fork. Add yogurt. Cook an additional 15 minutes on low. Serve over rice.
