Recipe Ingredients for Butter bean and veg casserole

2 onions
2 tbsp oil
900 g carrots
2 tbsp wholewheat flour
175 g butter beans
900 ml water
2 stock cubes
2 tsp chopped parsley
1 salt and pepper

Recipe Directions for Butter bean and veg casserole

  1. fry onion 5 mins, add vegetables (900g of any mix root veg not just carrot)

  2. sprinkle in flour mix with veggies

  3. add b beans, water and cubes

  4. simmer untill all tender, stir occasionaly

  5. or bake gas 3 for 1.5 hours
