Standard Snickerdoodle Recipe with SPLENDA

Recipe Ingredients for Bulk Snickerdoodles

1 c Shortening
1 1/2 c Splenda
1 3/4 c Flour
2 Eggs
2 t cream of tartar
1 t baking soda
1/2 t salt
1/2 t cinnamon
1 c Splenda

Recipe Directions for Bulk Snickerdoodles

  1. Mix shortening, 1.5 C Splenda and eggs. Beat until fluffy

  2. Stir together flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt

  3. Add flour mixture to shortening mixture

  4. Chill dough for 1 hour

  5. Mix together cinn and remaining 1 C Splenda

  6. Roll chilled dough into small walnut sized balls

  7. Dip top in cinn/Splenda mixture

  8. Place balls apx 2" apart on parchment lined baking sheet

  9. Bake for 7-9 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
