This is a wonder dish can be serve all day long, as starter, as side dish, as main dish with garden salad, with cacik or just plain yougurt.

Recipe Ingredients for Bulgur Pilav with Green Lentils from Olga's Healthy Choice

2 cups bulgur
1/2 cup boiled lentils
1 cup diced onion
2 cloves garlic
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp chili flakes
1 cup fresh parsley
4 cups water

Recipe Directions for Bulgur Pilav with Green Lentils from Olga's Healthy Choice

  1. In a large pan, pure oil and onion and stir them for five minutes on medium heat. Add garlic, salt, chili flakes and if required some cumin, and mix a few seconds. Then add bulgur and styr for another five minutes. Then add water (1 cup of bulgur need 2 cups of water) . Bring to boil then lower the heat and let it simmer. When bulgur soakes all the water, remove the pan from the heat. Add pre-boiled and drained green lentils and mix properly. Close the lid of pan and let it rest for 10 minutes.

  2. Before serving, decorate the Pilav with chopped parsley.

  3. Bon appetit!
