Recipe Ingredients for bulgur-banana porridge, Wellness-Lowfat Cookbook

2 bananas, mashed
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 tablespoon maple syrup
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup bulgur
2 cups 1% milk
1 ounce almonds, chopped

Recipe Directions for bulgur-banana porridge, Wellness-Lowfat Cookbook

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Combine all ingredients, except for almonds, then place in 1 quart baking dish. Bake for 25 minutes or until set. Stir, then divide into 4 bowls and sprinkle almonds on the top.
