A yummy alternative to my more fattening and higher calorie but really good version. Makes about 30 2" cookies.

Recipe Ingredients for Buffy's Oatmeal Cookies

1 1/2 c splenda
1/4 c molasses
1/2 c unsweetened applesauce
1 egg
1 c oats
1 1/4 c whole wheat flour
1 t baking soda
1/2 t salt
1 t cinnamon
1/2 c dried cranberries
1/2 c chopped walnuts

Recipe Directions for Buffy's Oatmeal Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees

  2. mix together splenda, molasses, applesauce and egg.

  3. Then add dry ingredients. Either cranberries or raisons will do.

  4. If you are looking for an even less sweet verion, lower the splenda amount.

  5. Place on cookie stone and bake for 8 - 10 minutes.
