There are two ways to prepare this dish.

Recipe Ingredients for Buffalo Hot Wings

3 lbs chicken wings
1/4 c butter
4 tbls tabasco

Recipe Directions for Buffalo Hot Wings

  1. To make the sauce, melt the butter and mix with the tabasco thoroughly. Set aside.

  2. First method: Set the wings on a cookie sheet, uncovered, in the refrigerator overnight. This dries out the skin.

  3. Bake in the oven at 425* for 20-25 minutes.

  4. Second method: Deep fry the wings in hot oil for 10-15 minutes, cooking in batches.

  5. Once the wings are cooked using either of the above methods, toss in the butter/tabasco sauce mixture to coate.
