Pizza version of the classic wings

Recipe Ingredients for Buffalo Chicken Pizza

1 cup whole wheat flour
10 ounces chicken breast
1/4 cup Blue Cheese Crumbled Natural
1 tbsp low fat sour cream
1 ounce dry yeast
1 cup low fat mozzarella
3 tbsp hot sauce
1 tsp black pepper

Recipe Directions for Buffalo Chicken Pizza

  1. Cut the chicken breast into large chunks and bake covered just until cooked through. Let cool and shred with a fork or your fingers. Mix thoroughly with the hot sauce.

  2. Mix yeast with 3/4 cup warm water and a pinch of sugar and until the yeast is activated (should get foamy on top)

  3. In a mixing bowl place the flour and black pepper and mix in the yeast. Stir until you form a ball adding more flour or water until you get a pliable dough. Dust a clean surface and knead until the dough is soft and smooth.

  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl cover and let rise until doubled in size. Knead the dough to get the air out and form into a round using your hands or rolling pin.

  5. in a small bowl mix the bleu cheese and sour cream to make a sauce use a little water to achieve desired consistency.

  6. cover the dough with the bleu cheese mixture and top with the chicken and mozzaerella.

  7. Bake at 400 F until the the cheese is golden and the base is crispy.
