Recipe Ingredients for Buckwheat pancakes

1 cup buckwheat flour
1 1/4 cup water
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda

Recipe Directions for Buckwheat pancakes

  1. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl

  2. Add water and mix well. The batter will be very thin.

  3. Cook batter in a very hot pan, in batches, flipping the pancakes when full of little holes and bubbles on top.

  4. transfer to a plate, add a touch of spread and molasses

  5. note: there is enough batter for 3-4 large but thin pancakes.
