Recipe Ingredients for bucatini with tomato and almonds

1 medium onion
3 tbsp olive oil
1 lb canned tomatoes
2 tbsp sliced almonds
2 slices whole wheat bread
14 oz whole wheat spaghetti
3/4 cup parmesan cheese

Recipe Directions for bucatini with tomato and almonds

  1. Cook onion with 1T oil for 10 min. Add tomatoes and season with SP. Cover and simmer 20-25 min.

  2. Toast almonds. Remove from heat and chop.

  3. Saute bread in frying pan with remaining oil until crisp and brown - 5 min.

  4. Cook pasta. Pour sauce over top. Sprinkle with almonds, bread, and cheese.
