Recipe Ingredients for Brownies

60 grams Baking Chocolate, Unsweetened, Squares
110 grams Unsalted Butter
200 grams Sugars, Granulated
2 medium Egg, Whole
60 grams All Purpose Flour
1 dash Salt, Table
0.5 tsp Vanilla Extract

Recipe Directions for Brownies

  1. Preheat oven to 175C. Grease a 20 cm square pan (or line it with aluminum foil and grease the foil)

  2. Combine chocolate and butter in a small saucepan over very low heat, stirring occasionally. When the chocolate is just about melted, remove from the heat and continue to stir until the mixture is smooth.

  3. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and stir sugar in. Beat in the eggs, one at a time. Gently stir in the flour, salt, vanilla. Pour and scrape into the pan and bake 20-25 min. or until just barely set in the middle. It's better to underbake than to overbake. Cool on a rack before cutting.

  4. Eat within 1 day and keep on room temperature.
