Brown Sugar Fudge Recipe

Awesome and wonderful. By the way I did NOT use heavy cream as specified, I used evaporated milk. Try it with heavy cream sometime though.

Recipe Ingredients for Brown Sugar Fudge

3 cups light brown sugar
1 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Brown Sugar Fudge

  1. Place all ingredients in medium pot, on medium high heat.

  2. Heat until boiling, reduce heat and cook until soft ball stage. It took about half an hour.

  3. May want to omit butter for the cooking stage.

  4. (I.E. add the butter after soft ball stage is reached).

  5. Let cool on its own (30 minutes) or place pot in cold ice water.

  6. Beat with wooden spoon until no longer glossy, about 4 minutes. Or until your arm gives out. Whichever comes first.

  7. Spread in a greased dish, let it set.
